Concrete Slabs, Shop And Pole-Barn Floors
Medina Concrete pours concrete slabs for shops, sheds and pole barns, foundation slabs and equipment pads, for homeowners and light commercial properties around Des Moines. These are the big flat pours, where a level, compacted base and careful finishing matter most, and we add aprons at overhead doors and along side walls.
Concrete Slabs, Done Right Underneath
A shop or pole-barn floor has to stay flat under equipment, vehicles and years of use. That comes down to the base under it, the reinforcement in it and how it is floated and finished.

Recent slab job: pole-barn shop floor
One of our recent pours was a large shop slab in front of a pole barn, poured in one go and floated flat, with a matching apron along the side wall. It is the kind of light commercial pour we do alongside driveways and patios.
Timing your slab with the building
For new pole barns and sheds, the slab schedule has to line up with the building crew. Call early so we can plan the pour date around your build.
